Marketing Project Manager

Nathan ensures the seamless execution of our authors’ marketing programs. Specializing in financial industry authors, he assigns tasks to writers and strategists, determines deadlines, and keeps a keen eye on the progress of each deliverable. Nathan’s efforts help ensure that projects are not only completed on time, but align with or exceed author expectations.

When he isn’t meeting with Team Members to discuss project status, he’s digging through emails and planning out his day in our workflow management software. He arranges his schedule to account not only for the project’s immediate needs, but its needs well into the future. He is instrumental in keeping materials posted to the websites and social media accounts that we create and manage for our authors. Good bedside manner and strong communication skills are among the attributes that Nathan considers essential to his role.
He joins Advantage|ForbesBooks after nearly four years with Benefitfocus, where he took on several roles from benefit administration to analytics for many Fortune 500 companies. He also enjoyed several years as Editor of Arts & Entertainment at The Racquette Newspaper, where he coordinated with major news organizations and entertainers to curate fresh print and digital content for their readers on a weekly basis. Nathan is originally from the Boston area, but later moved to Syracuse, New York and then northern New York to attend the State University of New York at Potsdam, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in speech communications and rhetoric with a minor in journalism. After experiencing a particularly frigid winter, he and his wife vowed to leave the North as soon as possible and haven’t looked back since. Outside of the office, Nathan spends his free time working on renovation and horticulture projects at home with his wife.
