Member Development Representative
Laura connects executives and thought leaders to the exemplary services offered by our publishing and marketing teams. She unpacks the process to potential Members, emboldening them to share their knowledge in a published book. To determine whether authorship is a good fit for the business owner, she conducts a precursory exploration of their professional goals by phone. This allows her to vet the pool of applicants, only advancing those who would truly benefit from authorship.
Her work day consists largely of following up with respondents to ensure that valuable connections aren’t lost in the current. She regularly sets aside time for prospecting – the process of culling the marketplace in search of qualified potential authors. Laura’s role demands the ability to stay hyper-concentrated amid a hectic environment. The ability to personally contribute to the growth of our Member base is one of the most fulfilling aspects of her position – in essence, seeing the fruits of her labor. When prospecting, she looks for entrepreneurs whose business ventures resonate with her at a personal level. Her sincerity manifests in the tone of her correspondence. Each MDR brings their own unique passions to the endeavor, making for meaningful and passionate prospecting.
