Jeff Margolis is widely recognized as a healthcare IT and strategy entrepreneur and systems design innovator. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Welltok, the leading healthcare consumer activation company. Previously, Jeff was the founder, chairman, and CEO of TriZetto, the first industry-vertical SaaS enterprise solution and creator of a market-leading platform supporting accurate benefit plan administration for over 130 million insured lives. Jeff originated the systematic concepts of Integrated Healthcare Management and Health Optimization and codified these into commercial data and software companies. Jeff currently serves on the board of directors for NextGen Healthcare, Alignment Healthcare, and TriNetX. He also serves in not-for-profit roles including as a board member of Hoag Health and as advisory board chair at the University of California at Irvine Center for Digital Transformation. Jeff previously authored The Healthcare Cure and is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer, also providing strategic advisory services to select organizations. Jeff is an alumnus of the University of Illinois, holds a CPA certificate (inactive) in Colorado, holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant designation with the AICPA, and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
