Adam Vlach

Publishing Project Manager

As Publishing Project Manager, Adam collaborates with his team to create and maintain project timelines and ensure high-quality deliverables for Members.

Before joining the team at ForbesBooks, Adam wrote for TK Magazine, a business-faced publication, and worked as a reporter, copy editor, and designer at The Topeka Capital-Journal, both based in Topeka, Kansas. He also served in multiple capacities within Washburn University’s student media organization, including editor-in-chief, and was recognized with the 2016 Outstanding Student Award in Student Media. Adam worked in many of these roles concurrently while also in college.

Adam graduated in 2016 from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in writing. He is an alum of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and Mortar Board National College Honor Society, having served as the president of his school’s chapters. Additionally, he was nominated for the Outstanding Distinguished Leader Award by the Washburn University Leadership Institute and was named to the 2015 list of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges & Universities.

Charleston has been quite a change of scenery from the Sunflower State. Although he was born in Lincoln, Nebraska—and remains a faithful Huskers fan—Adam grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and knows that to be home.

In his free time, Adam enjoys going on walks with his dog, Nala, working on his personal creative projects, and competing in bar trivia with friends. He strives to keep his mind sharp by playing chess, solving word puzzles, and reading anything and everything he can get his hands on. And, of course, he is an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Royals fan.
